Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Polish Power (ranked 4717 p4p, 4786 weight class) and David Oneil (ranked 478 p4p, 486 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Oneil's choice of entrance music: It's A Good Life if you Don't Weaken - In Violet Light - The Tragically Hip. David Oneil is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneil with a lazy takedown attempt
and Power counters with a nice body kick.
Oneil takes one on the button.
Power looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Oneil dives in for a single leg takedown but Power sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oneil takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like David Oneil has been cut.
Oneil shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Power pinned against the cage. Power gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Polish Power has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Oneil.
Oneil closes the distance and clinches up with Power, looking for a takedown. Oneil pushes Power against the cage but Power circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oneil closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Power to the mat! Power manages to get full guard.
Oneil slips nicely into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oneil wants to work for an arm triangle but Power is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Power knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oneil on the ground.

Oneil lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Power is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Oneil wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely.

Oneil lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Power is in a horrible position here. Oneil smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Oneil has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Power lands with a slapping head kick.
Power throws out a loose jab but Oneil uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oneil closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Power is trying to get back to half guard.
Oneil creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Power sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Oneil looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Power is avoiding damage well.
Oneil is working Power over with some ground and pound from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The strikes coming from Oneil are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Oneil has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Oneil has hold of Power's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Power tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Oneil cranks the arm and Power screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Power, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). David Oneil!
A relieved looking David Oneil thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
