The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyranis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tyranis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tyranis swings for the body but Cartwright moves out of range.
Tyranis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tyranis tries to bum rush Cartwright with a series of wild strikes but Cartwright uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tyranis tries to sprawl but Cartwright drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Tyranis tries to kick Cartwright off but Cartwright keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cartwright is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tyranis is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tyranis flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cartwright anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tyranis and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cartwright slips an arm under Tyranis chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cartwright has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cartwright is squeezing on Tyranis like an anaconda would it's prey. Tyranis fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
