The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Selvatico.
Selvatico misses with a kick to the body
and Masvidal counters with a straight right hand.

A looping hook to the body misses from Selvatico. Masvidal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Selvatico throws a lazy body kick
enabling Masvidal to counter with a crisp jab.
Masvidal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Masvidal loads up on a big right hand but Selvatico slips the punch.
Selvatico lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A telegraphed right hand from Selvatico misses the target.
Selvatico thuds his shin into the meat of Masvidal's side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Selvatico throws a low kick but Masvidal moves out of range easily.

and Selvatico counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nate Masvidal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Masvidal stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Selvatico.
Masvidal tries to move into range but Selvatico moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Masvidal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Masvidal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Selvatico throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Masvidal steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Selvatico. That one must have hurt.
Masvidal is breathing heavily.
Selvatico connects with a leg kick.
Selvatico is looking to land body kicks.
Selvatico connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Masvidal momentarily.

Selvatico lands a big head kick that sends Masvidal tumbling to the mat! Selvatico takes a step backwards and waves Masvidal back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Selvatico counters with a crisp right that sends Masvidal to the canvas! Selvatico follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
