Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Shield (ranked 5450 p4p, 24187 weight class) and Higanti Libat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Shield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shield tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Libat manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Libat counters with a body kick.
James Shield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shield is wriggling around but Libat manages to pass to half guard.

Shield dives in and grabs Libat's left leg, looking for a takedown. Libat pushes down on Shield's head and hops out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shield is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Libat pulls his head out easily.

Higanti Libat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
