The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jamari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
We've been told by Jamari's head coaches at Cloud9 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Cartwright changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jamari tries to avoid it but Cartwright manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jamari to the ground. Jamari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Miman Jamari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Callum Cartwright.
