Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 5457 p4p, 2122 weight class) and Vito Romero (ranked 586 p4p, 314 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vito Romero!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels closes the distance and clinches up with Romero, looking for a takedown. Daniels pushes Romero against the cage but Romero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Romero throws a hook to the side of Daniels's head but Daniels sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Daniels lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Romero is trying to force a seperation but Daniels has the dominant position.
Daniels jumps guard but Romero stands there with Daniels around his waist. Daniels gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've been told by Daniels's head coaches at Blacksmith MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Daniels changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Romero is pressed up against the cage. Daniels has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Romero down to the mat. Romero avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Romero darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Romero throws a lazy right hand but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Romero clobbers Daniels with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Daniels walks into a stiff left hand from Romero.

Daniels is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Daniels misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Daniels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romero is stalking Daniels. Daniels circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Romero, and it's lights out! Daniels really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vito Romero!
Post fight, Vito Romero took to the microphone: 'This is my 2nd fight at 205, I'm so happy to eat! Not cutting much weight. Matvey Elin! You have the championship belt! Respect... Not to sound selfish but I really want to take that belt from you and keep it for myself! Let's go!'.
