Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sorry Eh (ranked 980 p4p, 1421 weight class) and Sonny Day (ranked 137 p4p, 191 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sorry Eh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sonny Day! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day throws a hook but Eh avoids it easily. Eh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Day. Eh tries to counter with a takedown but Day is quick to defend against it. Day pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Eh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Day. Day thuds his shin into the meat of Eh's side. Eh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Eh moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. No joy there for Day, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Eh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The crowd cheers as Day lands an impressive looking overhand right. Eh doesn't seem phased though. Day misses with a body shot.
Eh ducks under a wild hook from Day. Eh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Eh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Day can pounce on him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Day loads up on a big right hand but Eh slips the punch. Eh misses with a few strikes there.
A telegraphed right hand from Day misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day swings for the body but Eh moves out of range.
Eh misses with a two punch combination.
A countering left hand to the body from Day misses. Day scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Eh shoots in for a takedown but Day shows good takedown defense. Eh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Day throws out the jab. Eh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Day pushes Eh off and gets back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Eh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Day is being controlled here. Day is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day prevents Eh from moving into mount. Day is trying to escape the position but Eh is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eh advances to full mount. Day is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Eh controlling the position easily from mount. Day trying desperately to get to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sonny Day will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Day looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Eh attempts a counter takedown but Day avoids it well and moves away. Eh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Day throws out a loose jab but Eh uses good head movement to avoid it. Eh half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Day scores with a nice strike. Eh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. A telegraphed right hand from Day misses the target. Day has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Day misses with a lunging right hand
and Eh counters with a shoot takedown. Day fights it but they end up in guard. Day can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Eh controls the pace. Day wants to get back to his feet but Eh passes into half guard.
Eh is taking a breather. Day says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day pushes Eh off and gets back to his feet. Day missing with a left hand there. Eh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A nice combination there by Day.
Day tests Eh's chin there with a solid looking shot. Eh looking to score a takedown here. Day is defending well but Eh drives through and ends up in Day's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eh controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Eh is controlling him. Eh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Eh sitting in guard, not really doing much. This has been an exciting period of action! Eh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eh won't allow Day to sweep him here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Day waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Eh. Sonny Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eh misses with a series of wild punches.
Eh shoots in and bounces Day off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Eh won't allow Day to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eh sitting in guard here, content to control. Day keeping full guard, as Eh tries to pass. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Eh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sonny Day will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Eh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Day. Eh misses with a few strikes there.
Day throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Day tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Eh is able to avoid easily. Nice defenses there by Eh. Day misses with a looping left. Eh feinted with a counter takedown. Day listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Eh slips a jab from Day. Day fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Day jabs Eh to the body, keeping him at a distance. Eh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Eh appears to be looking for a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Day throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Eh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Day is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Eh dives into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! Day being controlled for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day tries to buck Eh off but Eh is having none of it. Eh controlling the position. Eh tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Eh prevents Day from escaping the position. You can see the frustration on Day's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. You can see the frustration on Day's face as Eh controls the position. Sorry Eh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Eh seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Day for as long as he can get away with. Eh tries to advance to mount but Day denies him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Eh avoids the body shot from Day.
Eh shoots in for a takedown but Day shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Eh doesn't manage to clinch there - Day circles away.
Eh moves out of range of the strikes. Day throws an overhand right that lands on Eh's shoulder, as Eh tries to avoid the shot. Eh feinted with a counter takedown. Eh fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've been informed that Day has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Eh misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Day misses with a body punch
and Eh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Day won't be happy with that. Eh takes a little break here. Day wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Sorry Eh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Day is looking for a sweep. Eh is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Day will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sonny Day. I've got Day winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Sonny Day! Sonny Day spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
