Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cleetus Miller (ranked 2351 p4p, 2896 weight class) and Tj Pen (ranked 335 p4p, 397 weight class). Tj Pen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a hook but Pen avoids it easily.

Miller lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miller controls the pace.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Miller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller wants to sweep but no luck.

Miller is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Miller moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pen has worked his arm free - good work by Pen!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Miller is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
