Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Not Ponor (ranked 2052 p4p, 5827 weight class) and Dennis Fischer (ranked 297 p4p, 594 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Not Ponor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Fischer! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ponor throws a poor cross that misses
and Fischer counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Fischer cracks Ponor with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Ponor is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Ponor is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
It looks like Not Ponor has been cut. Fischer lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ponor will feel that in the morning. Fischer throws a leg kick which misses Ponor's front leg but catches the back leg as Ponor tries to avoid it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fischer throws an overhand right that lands on Ponor's shoulder, as Ponor tries to avoid the shot. Fischer is looking to slow Ponor down with leg kicks. Fischer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fischer throws a lazy body kick and Fischer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fischer lands a glancing blow to the side of Ponor's head. Dennis Fischer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ponor buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ponor walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Ponor is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dennis Fischer! After winning the bout, Dennis Fischer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
