Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeryl Christ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boris Bors!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Christ keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Christ on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bors misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Christ.
Bors lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bors tries to bum rush Christ with a series of wild strikes but Christ uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Christ gets tackled into the cage by Bors. Bors maintains the clinch.

Bors takes a shot to the head.
Christ manages to break the clinch.
Bors tries to clinch up.
Christ swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Christ gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bors.
Christ jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bors walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Christ checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bors misses with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bors throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bors misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A slow jab from Christ misses its intended target.
Bors throws a head kick that misses.
Christ cracks Bors with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Christ sends Bors crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Christ is motioning to the referee to let Bors up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bors is rocked!

Bors is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Christ rather than just go for the knockout.
Bors ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bors throws a predictable looking body shot
and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Christ moves out of range as Bors strikes.
Christ cracks Bors with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Christ has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bors to stand back up!
Bors fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Christ.
BOOM! Christ lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bors. Bors tries to recover but Christ is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bors lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeryl Christ!
After winning the bout, Jeryl Christ thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
