We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that DeCoteau has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Xe cracks DeCoteau with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Xe immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! DeCoteau is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Xe!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Professor Xe!
After winning the bout, Professor Xe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
