Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braxton Driscoll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bingo Banjo!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banjo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Driscoll.
Driscoll fails with a takedown attempt.

Driscoll stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Driscoll wants it to stay on the feet.
Driscoll wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Banjo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Driscoll as he jumps to the side.
Driscoll throws a big counter combination but Banjo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Banjo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Driscoll pushes Banjo up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Driscoll is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Banjo wants to counter with a clinch but Driscoll pushes him away.

Driscoll is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Driscoll's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Banjo throws the left hand but Driscoll avoids the punch easily.

and Driscoll counters with a two punch combo.
Driscoll shoots in for a takedown but Banjo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Driscoll throws a series of punches but Banjo moves out of range.

It looks like Bingo Banjo has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Banjo as Driscoll shoots in.
Driscoll works Banjo's body with a nice hook.

Banjo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Driscoll is trying to defend but Banjo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Driscoll has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Banjo is on him like a limpet, forcing Driscoll back against the cage.

Banjo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Banjo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Banjo throws an overhand right that lands on Driscoll's shoulder, as Driscoll tries to avoid the shot.
Nice takedown defense from Banjo. No joy for Driscoll on that attempt.

Banjo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Driscoll counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Banjo badly! He tries to strike back but Driscoll puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Banjo out cold! Oh man, Banjo will never hear the end of this one!
