1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rex Munroe! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beat shoots for a takedown but Munroe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Beat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Munroe as he jumps to the side. Munroe fails with the takedown. Beat scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Munroe is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Munroe is doing well to control the position and prevent Beat from advancing to side control. The fighters are battling for position here. Munroe manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Beat is looking to work some ground and pound but Munroe has wrist control. Munroe is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Beat working some strikes from top position. Munroe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Despite being in the dominant position, Rex Munroe just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Beat fails with the takedown and Munroe counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Beat! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vica Beat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Well, if Munroe is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Rex Munroe dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beat closes this distance looking for a takedown but Munroe circles away. Munroe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Beat decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Munroe trying to control here.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Munroe trying to control but Beat is working from the bottom. Beat wants to hit a switch here but Munroe passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Beat there! Munroe controlling from mount. What's that going to do exactly? Beat wants to control but Munroe is having none of it. Beat working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munroe avoids the attempt from Beat to control. Munroe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Beat flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Beat is desperately trying to improve his position but Munroe has a good base and remains in mount. Beat throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Munroe is landing with some decent strikes but Beat is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. BOOM! Munroe connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Munroe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Munroe in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Beat is in all sorts of trouble here.
Munroe controlling the pace for now. Beat throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Beat is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rex Munroe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Munroe shoots in for a double leg but Beat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Beat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Beat fails with the takedown. Munroe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Beat throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rex Munroe has got the better of the ground game so far. Beat tries to land a sweep but no joy. Munroe controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Beat trying to strike off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Beat gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Beat looking to control.

Beat is trying to get back to full guard. Munroe has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Beat defend it? Munroe steps over the head and cranks it - Beat is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Munroe!
