Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Neil Napier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stuart Bridgeman! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Napier tries to clinch up but Bridgeman circles away and keeps his distance. Napier dodges the punch combination from Bridgeman.
Napier tries to clinch but Bridgeman moves out of range. Napier tries to clinch up but Bridgeman circles away and keeps his distance. Bridgeman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bridgeman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Napier as he jumps to the side. Bridgeman keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bridgeman has a takedown stuffed. Neil Napier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stuart Bridgeman. Napier tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Napier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bridgeman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bridgeman misses with a wild combination.
Bridgeman fails with the takedown. Bridgeman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Napier pushes Bridgeman off looking to stand but Bridgeman dives back in and keeps control.
Napier wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Napier looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Napier is looking to get back to is feet but Bridgeman passes into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Bridgeman tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Napier tries to improve position but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bridgeman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Napier has escaped the position, nice work there. Bridgeman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stuart Bridgeman dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bridgeman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Napier swivels and escapes. Bridgeman shoots in and drives through. Napier sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Napier gets a clinch. Napier with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Napier jumps guard.
Bridgeman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Napier wriggles free and stands up. Bridgeman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Napier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bridgeman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bridgeman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Napier has an active guard here but Bridgeman has managed to pass into half guard.
Napier is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bridgeman pulls his head out easily. Napier regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bridgeman showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Napier looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bridgeman passes into half guard.
Bridgeman trying to control the action but Napier is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bridgeman controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Stuart Bridgeman will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bridgeman swats away the attempt to clinch by Napier. Bridgeman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Napier as he jumps to the side. Napier doesn't manage to clinch there - Bridgeman circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bridgeman feints and as Napier raises his hands in defense, Bridgeman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bridgeman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Napier isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bridgeman stacks Napier on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bridgeman! Napier is trying to control Bridgeman's posture but Bridgeman avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bridgeman controlling the position from side mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Stuart Bridgeman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bridgeman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
