Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamal Dapaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Reynolds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shamal Dapaki! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dapaki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reynolds. A bone on bone clash there as Reynolds blocks the leg kick.
Reynolds misses with a looping left. Reynolds missing with a left hand there. Dapaki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Reynolds tries for a takedown but Dapaki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dapaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Reynolds circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dapaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dapaki gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dapaki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dapaki keeping moving, preventing Reynolds from controlling successfully. Dapaki working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Reynolds. Dapaki has momentary wrist control but Reynolds slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reynolds loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Reynolds has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reynolds accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Reynolds loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Reynolds is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reynolds throws a right hand that Dapaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Dapaki also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Reynolds throws a series of punches but Dapaki avoids them all with ease. Reynolds circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dapaki slips under a jab from Reynolds. Reynolds throws a nice looking combination but Dapaki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reynolds fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dapaki manages to avoid it. Reynolds keeps the fight on the outside. Reynolds shoots in but Dapaki avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shamal Dapaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Reynolds tries to keep at a distance but Dapaki has taken the fight into the clinch. Reynolds avoids a wild elbow strike from Dapaki. Reynolds jumps guard but Dapaki stands there with Reynolds around his waist. Reynolds gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dapaki comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Reynolds takes an elbow to the forehead. Dapaki lands a nice elbow. Dapaki with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Dapaki looking to throw knees to the head but Reynolds is blocking nicely.

Reynolds jumps guard and drags Dapaki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Reynolds throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Reynolds bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dapaki's guard. Dapaki has momentary wrist control but Reynolds slips an elbow through the middle. Dapaki keeping moving, preventing Reynolds from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reynolds working some strikes from top position. Dapaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reynolds. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reynolds works a leg free and moves into half guard. Reynolds works his foot free and advances to mount. Reynolds scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reynolds working Dapaki over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Steve Reynolds will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Reynolds tries to bum rush Dapaki with a series of wild strikes but Dapaki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dapaki tries to clinch up. Reynolds closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dapaki takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Dapaki tries to escape but Reynolds is in control. Reynolds wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dapaki keeps working. Reynolds tries to score with some ground and pound. Dapaki controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reynolds tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Reynolds is trying to get an arm triangle but Dapaki is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reynolds postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Reynolds wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dapaki keeps working. Reynolds is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dapaki looks calm but he's in trouble here. Reynolds gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dapaki is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Reynolds lets go of the hold and Dapaki can pop his arm back in it's socket.
