Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gub Sin (ranked 4133 p4p, 5809 weight class) and Roman Grigorev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grigorev has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Gub Sin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roman Grigorev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gub Sin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Grigorev! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grigorev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Grigorev should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Grigorev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sin gets a double leg takedown into Grigorev's guard. Sin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grigorev swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sin counters with a single leg into guard. Grigorev didn't expect that. Sin is standing up over Grigorev. Grigorev looks to escape but Sin dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grigorev is trying to improve his position. Grigorev is letting Sin control him for a moment. Sin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Grigorev! Sin lands a big elbow. Sin avoids the attempt from Grigorev to control. Sin landing strikes from the mount and Grigorev is in trouble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sin controlling the position easily from mount. Sin swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
