Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Presley Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shawn Smith!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Chai lands with a straight right. Smith didn't see that one coming.
The fighters circling - Chai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chai misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Chai takes the fight into the clinch.
Smith jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chai walks away with a smile on his face. Smith gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chai connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Smith scrambles back to his feet.
Chai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Chai throws a hook but Smith blocks it.
Presley Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith wants to slow Chai down by chopping away at his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Chai lands an impressive looking overhand right. Smith doesn't seem phased though.
A bone on bone clash there as Chai blocks the leg kick.

Chai is trying to drag Smith to the mat but Smith just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Chai drops down looking for an ankle pick but Smith pulls his leg out and moves away.

Smith is trying to maintain a safe position but Chai gets an underhook and turns Smith into the cage.
I was talking to Chai's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Chai cracks Smith with a nice body shot.
Chai misses with a hook to the ribs.
Smith can't find room to land a body shot as Chai controls the action.
Chai tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Presley Chai dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Chai wants to clinch.
Smith takes a swing at Chai's ribcage but misses.
As Smith tries to get set, Chai tries to push him back and clinch up but Smith manages to avoid the attempt.

Chai drives through and clinches with Smith against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chai takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Smith goes for a takedown attempt but Chai pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chai is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Smith can do to turn this around?

Chai lands a big elbow - Smith is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Chai!
