Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Biniyam Shibre!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shibre blocks a head kick by Beckley.
Beckley seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Beckley misses with a hook.
Shibre looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Shibre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Beckley missing with a left hand there. Shibre was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Benson Beckley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shibre keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Beckley.
Beckley swings for the body but Shibre moves out of range.
Beckley throws a body shot but no joy.
Beckley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Beckley scores with a nice strike.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Shibre - that will leave a mark!
Shibre thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Beckley if he has to take too many more of those.
Beckley is breathing heavily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Beckley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shibre - the referee stops the clock and Beckley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shibre. Beckley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Beckley pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shibre is out of range and Beckley settles back down.
Shibre bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beckley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Shibre lands a head kick. Beckley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Benson Beckley has been cut.
Beckley is looking to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Shibre.
Shibre turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shibre pushes Beckley away with a front kick.
Shibre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Beckley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shibre was well out of range. Poor timing from Beckley.
Shibre feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Beckley collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Biniyam Shibre!
A relieved looking Biniyam Shibre thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
