Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pupp Eye (ranked 5140 p4p, 24064 weight class) and Tadao Sato (ranked 488 p4p, 540 weight class). Pupp Eye has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pupp Eye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tadao Sato! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato misses with a double jab.
Eye instigates a clinch. Eye dodges an elbow strike from Sato.
Sato should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Eye pulls guard effortlessly. Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eye swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Eye wants to sweep here but Sato controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eye has Sato pulled in close to control his posture. Eye sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sato is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Eye advances to full mount. Eye controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eye's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sato is trying to escape the mount.

Eye thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Sato tries to lock up and control but Eye gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Eye tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sato wants to control but Eye is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eye throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Eye wants to finish this one by submission but Sato is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Eye. Eye content just to control the position here. Eye wants to stand but Sato is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Eye stands up from mount. Strange move. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eye drives through and clinches with Sato against the cage.
Sato is fighting off a takedown attempt but Eye is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sato to the mat. Sato regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Eye content to stall in guard here. Eye slips nicely into half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Eye is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sato's half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Eye will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sato tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Eye presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Eye controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eye landing shots from mount. Eye cracks Sato with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Pupp Eye dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Eye closes the distance and clinches. Sato throws an elbow but it misses.

Eye escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sato tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Eye is in Sato's guard. Eye gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sato throws a right and a left that both miss. Sato takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Eye cracks Sato with a right hand to the side of the head. Sato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eye moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Eye shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Eye controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tadao Sato has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eye thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Sato's face as Eye controls the position. Eye seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sato for as long as he can get away with. Eye tries to stand but Sato is controlling his head. Sato is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Eye politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Eye prefers to stall for the moment though. Eye controlling the pace for now. Sato is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sato throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Sato reaches up to try and control the position but Eye seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Sato rolls and tries to escape and now Eye has his back!
Eye really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sato. Eye patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Eye is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sato has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Pupp Eye is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sato defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Eye's arms.
And that's the end of the fight! Pupp Eye showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Eye, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
