Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kawehi Kalani (ranked 4929 p4p, 5571 weight class) and Wally Lewis (ranked 568 p4p, 610 weight class). Wally Lewis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kawehi Kalani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wally Lewis! The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Anni Minnem�ki and Tarja Halkonen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Lewis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kalani doesn't seem phased though. Kalani tries to land a front kick but Lewis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kalani throws a shot to the body.
Kalani throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
And Lewis tries to counter it with a takedown but Kalani pushes his down on his head and steps out. Crunch! Kalani slams his shin into Lewis's torso. Kalani with a nice calf kick. Kalani throws a body punch but Lewis moves out of range. Kalani moves forwards but Lewis connects with a nice, crisp jab. Lewis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kalani throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lewis swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A shot to the body from Kalani misses and Lewis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kalani slips under a jab. Kalani throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kalani gets caught flat footed, as Lewis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kalani is looking for a triangle but Lewis pushes his legs off easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kalani looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lewis is one step ahead there. Lewis tries to free his leg and advance position but Kalani is retaining full guard. Lewis won't allow Kalani to get back to his feet. Lewis looking to pass the guard. Lewis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lewis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lewis misses with a two punch combination.
Kalani misses with a kick to the body.
Kalani lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kalani tries a head kick but it misses.
Lewis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lewis cracks Kalani with an elbow. That is naaassty. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kalani knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kalani wants to control but Lewis postures up.
Lewis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kalani struggling a bit here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kalani is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lewis's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Lewis! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Kalani has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Wally Lewis! An out of breath Wally Lewis thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
