Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Segura (ranked 2544 p4p, 2239 weight class) and Jello Belly (ranked 316 p4p, 282 weight class). Segura's entrance music is Mystic Rick - Press Conference. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jello Belly!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Segura bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Segura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Belly for as long as he can get away with.
Belly tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Segura wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Belly, who protects the arm well.
Belly has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Segura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Belly lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Belly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Segura circles away quickly and effectively.

and Segura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Belly tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Segura is able to avoid easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
