Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Calan Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Unicorn Big Foot! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Big Foot tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily and Smith counters with a straight right hand. Big Foot darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Smith is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Big Foot is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Smith wants to get back to his feet.
Big Foot is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Big Foot maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Smith could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Big Foot has cracked it and Smith is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Big Foot!
