The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxaaja shoots in and bounces White Jr off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Boxaaja is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

White Jr had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boxaaja defends it easily.

Boxaaja got a little sloppy there for a moment and White Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boxaaja has managed to get both his arms back between White Jr's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

White Jr seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Boxaaja for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

White Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

White Jr has an Americana. Boxaaja didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! White Jr is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if White Jr hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
