Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Line (ranked 148 p4p, 741 weight class) and Athos Knox (ranked 22 p4p, 104 weight class). Line kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is For Heavy Metal we will die!. Knox has chosen Click Click Boom | Saliva as his entrance music. Gustav Line has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gustav Line!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Athos Knox!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox misses with a right hand
and Line connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Athos Knox has been cut.
Line with a jab.
A swing and a miss from Knox.
Line tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Knox manages to circle out of the way.
Knox misses with a straight left.
Line is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Knox misses the jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Line misses the target.
Knox misses with a left hand
and Line counters with a crisp right hand that drops Knox! Line lets Knox back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Knox is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knox looks to throw the jab but Line is out of range.
Line looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Knox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Knox throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Line has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Line there as he acknowledges the shot.
Knox misses with a left hand
and Line counters with a slapping leg kick.
Knox lands a really nice looking cross but Line seems unphased.
Knox's jab looks to have found its range, popping Line under the eye.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Line staying out of range there.
Line throws the kick towards the body but Knox avoids it.
Knox looks to score with a jab to the body but Line is just out of range.
Knox lands a lovely overhand right.
Line moves into the clinch successfully.
Knox blocking some punches.
Line breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Line ducks under a wild hook from Knox.
Line lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Line's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knox connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Line scrambles back to his feet.
Knox scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Line doesn't seem bothered though.
Knox lands a big uppercut and Line crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Line looks OK. Knox waves Line back to his feet!
Line is rocked!

Line looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Knox sends Line crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Knox is motioning to the referee to let Line up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Line is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Line misses with a looping right.
Line ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Line seems to have got his legs back now.
Knox throws a hook to the side of Line's head but Line sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Line was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Knox cracks Line with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Line looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Knox finish him?
Line takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Line looks up at the clock. Bad move! Knox lands a right hand from hell, dropping Line. Knox pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Athos Knox!
Athos Knox decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
