Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln The Grounder (ranked 4163 p4p, 4058 weight class) and Daiboru Kyokusei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daiboru Kyokusei is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lincoln The Grounder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daiboru Kyokusei! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Grounder shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than The Grounder was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kyokusei throws The Grounder to one side and escapes! Kyokusei looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Kyokusei misses with a kick to the body and The Grounder counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Grounder. The Grounder is standing up over Kyokusei. Kyokusei looks to escape but The Grounder dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Grounder controlling from side mount. Kyokusei wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Kyokusei trying to remain calm as The Grounder controls from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Grounder advances to full mount. Kyokusei defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from The Grounder. Kyokusei is trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyokusei is trying desperately to improve position. The Grounder controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Grounder looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The Grounder controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Grounder with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The Grounder controlling the pace for now. The Grounder working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kyokusei turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips The Grounder off and cradles Kyokusei's limp body as The Grounder celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Lincoln The Grounder!
