Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 24760 p4p, 24571 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Kiang shoots in looking for a takedown. Sapi tries to sprawl out of it but Kiang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sapi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kiang tries for a takedown but Sapi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi shoots in for a double leg but Kiang sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kiang tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sapi defends well and Kiang ends up having to push Sapi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yawa Kiang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang manages to break the clinch.
Kiang closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sapi did well to prevent Kiang getting side control. Sapi manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kiang keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Sapi looking for a takedown. Kiang stops a takedown attempt from Sapi.
Kiang pulls Sapi into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sapi trying to control but Kiang is working from the bottom. Kiang trying to control the position.
Kiang is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sapi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kiang tries to land a body kick and Sapi counters with a nice body kick. Sapi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kiang pinned against the cage. Kiang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kiang appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kiang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sapi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang trying to control the action but Sapi is working from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yawa Kiang will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wala Sapi has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi controlling the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang tries to get to full guard but Sapi has control of the leg. Sapi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Kiang wants to control but Sapi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sapi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi stuffs the takedown attempt from Kiang. Kiang gets slowly back to his feet. Sapi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yawa Kiang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kiang fails to land the takedown. Sapi feints the counter takedown. Kiang looks for a takedown but Sapi sprawls well. Sapi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sapi gets caught napping as Kiang dives in and scores a takedown. Sapi manages to retain guard. Sapi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi has his hands on Kiang's head, controlling the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Kiang shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sapi counters with a body kick that stops Kiang in his tracks momentarily. Kiang gets a takedown into half guard. Kiang wants to take a breather but Sapi is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi wants to control but Kiang is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi desperately trying to maintain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiang controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kiang trying to control the action but Sapi is working from the bottom. Sapi wants to improve his position but Kiang is controlling well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sapi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kiang swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sapi shoots in looking for a takedown. Kiang tries to sprawl out of it but Sapi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kiang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kiang feinted there with a counter leg kick. Sapi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kiang's waist but Kiang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sapi off to one side. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kiang shoots for a double leg takedown but Sapi sprawls well. He's pushed Kiang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kiang shoots in for a double leg but Sapi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
