Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Dillinger !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Choi!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger misses with a combination
and Choi counters with a one-two to the body.
Dillinger throws a lazy right hand but Choi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Choi connects with a solid leg kick.
Dillinger scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dillinger throws a hook but Choi blocks it.
Dillinger fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Choi on the side of the head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Choi is defended easily by Dillinger .
Choi throws a sloppy head kick and Dillinger moves out of range easily.
Choi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Choi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Choi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dillinger 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dillinger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Choi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dillinger tries to avoid it but Choi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dillinger to the ground. Dillinger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Choi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dillinger swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Choi.
Dillinger bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Choi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Choi showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Choi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dillinger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
