And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Hunt.
It looked like Bonney was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hunt.
Hunt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hunt misses with a body shot.
Bonney is looking to counter punch.
Hunt throws a poor cross that misses
and Bonney connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hunt misses with a combination
and Bonney counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bonney looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hunt misses the body punch
and Bonney counters with a nice right hand that sends Hunt toppling to the canvas! Hunt scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bonney finish him?!
Hunt is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bonney walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Bonney finish him?
Hunt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hunt tries to clinch
and Bonney counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
