Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ando Easter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Tyson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ando Easter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson throws the left hand but Easter avoids the punch easily.

Easter scores a takedown into full mount!
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Easter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tyson wants to hold on but Easter pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Easter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Easter prevents Tyson from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Easter cracks Tyson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Easter won't let Tyson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Tyson is looking to improve his position but Easter isn't that keen on the idea.
Tyson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Easter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tyson is wriggling around trying to escape.

Easter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Easter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tyson is looking to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tyson can do anything to dispel that myth.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ando Easter dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Tyson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Easter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tyson is working away from the top position though.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ando Easter just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Easter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Ando Easter has been cut.
Ando Easter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Easter takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tyson scores with a nice strike.
Easter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyson as he jumps to the side.
Tyson tries to clinch but Easter is having none of it.
A left and a right from Tyson both land. Nice combination.
A combination from Easter does no damage.
Tyson tries for a takedown but Easter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tyson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Easter counters with a shoot takedown. Tyson fights it but they end up in guard.

Ando Easter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tyson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Easter stands up and waves to Tyson to follow him.

Tyson looks to score with a jab to the body but Easter is just out of range.

Easter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tyson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Easter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Easter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Easter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyson's head.

Tyson wants to control but Easter is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tyson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tyson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Easter's hands.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tyson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tyson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Tyson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tyson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Easter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ando Easter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Ando Easter's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Easter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Easter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tyson's guard now.

Easter is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Easter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Easter connects with a nice short shot to Tyson's temple.
