Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barich Fendsor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papi Hutch! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hutch takes a kick to the side of the head. Hutch on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fendsor. Fendsor obviously looking to wear him down.
Hutch fails in his attempt to clinch. Fendsor thumps Hutch with a low kick. Hutch scores with a jab. Fendsor acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hutch scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fendsor in his tracks. Fendsor with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fendsor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hutch. That did some damage! Fendsor cracks the inside of Hutch's front leg. Hutch looks gassed! A chopping leg kick lands by Fendsor. Both fighters circling a little - Fendsor finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Fendsor scores with a leg kick.
Hutch takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Papi Hutch has been cut. Fendsor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Fendsor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fendsor connects with a jab. Fendsor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fendsor throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hutch. Fendsor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fendsor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fendsor drives through with a takedown into guard. Hutch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fendsor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fendsor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fendsor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fendsor stands and throws Hutch's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Hutch's face as Fendsor controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fendsor works to advance to full mount. Hutch defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Fendsor working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Fendsor content just to control the position here. Fendsor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hutch for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fendsor is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Fendsor!
