The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tepes lV uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vercetti.
Vercetti misses with a lunging right hand
and Tepes lV counters with an outside leg kick.
Vercetti misses with an uppercut. Tepes lV saw that one coming.
Vercetti thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tepes lV thumps Vercetti with a low kick.
Tepes lV lands with a right hand.

Vercetti was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Vercetti throws a hook but Tepes lV blocks it.
Vercetti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tepes lV moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tepes lV throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tepes lV takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vercetti has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Finch Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Tepes lV avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vercetti misses with a hook. Tepes lV ducked under it nicely.
Tepes lV tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vercetti throws a lazy right hand but Tepes lV sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Tepes lV looks to score with a jab to the body but Vercetti is just out of range.

Vercetti seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Tepes lV ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tepes lV throws a leg kick which misses Vercetti's front leg but catches the back leg as Vercetti tries to avoid it.
Tepes lV throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tepes lV takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tommy Vercetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tepes lV uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vercetti.

Vercetti looks to score with a jab to the body but Tepes lV is just out of range.

Tepes lV walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Tepes lV has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tepes lV there as he acknowledges the shot.

Vercetti lands a big right hand that sends Tepes lV crashing to the mat! Vercetti stays standing though and waves Tepes lV back to his feet!

Vercetti cracks Tepes lV with a left hook right on the temple and Tepes lV goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Vercetti lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Tepes lV is OK!
