Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timo Bader (ranked 1543 p4p, 1467 weight class) and Jock Strap (ranked 208 p4p, 196 weight class). Jock Strap has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Timo Bader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Jock Strap!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader misses with an uppercut. Strap saw that one coming.
Bader steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Strap.
Bader drops down looking for a counter takedown but Strap sprawls and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Strap.
Bader misses with a hook. Strap ducked under it nicely.
A low kick from Bader misses
and Strap counters with a straight right hand.
Bader throws a sloppy body shot
and Strap cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bader swings for the body but Strap moves out of range.
Bader throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Strap counters with a straight right hand.
Bader connects with a crisp jab.
Strap stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Strap wants it to stay on the feet.
Strap feints a counter leg kick.
Bader falls off balance throwing a combination
and Strap counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strap won't allow Bader to get back to his feet.
Bader preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bader is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Strap is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strap stands up over Bader, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Strap content to stall in guard here.
Strap loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Strap slips nicely into half guard.
Bader looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bader avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Strap.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bader actively working from the bottom here.
Bader blocking the ground and pound attempt from Strap.
Bader kicks Strap off and gets back to his feet.
Strap looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Timo Bader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strap has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Strap there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bader cracks Strap with a good jab.
Bader misses the jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bader is defended easily by Strap.
Strap on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Bader checks a leg kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Strap scores with a four punch combination!
A jab from Bader does it's job there.

Strap throws a leg kick but Bader sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Strap misses with a body shot.
Bader looks to land a combination but Strap avoids it well.
Strap will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Strap ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bader tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strap paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bader is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Strap dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bader. That did some damage!
Bader throws a nice outside leg kick.
Strap keeps the fight on the outside.
Strap works Bader's body with a nice hook.
Strap changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bader looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
An elbow from Strap crashes against the mat.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bader tries to escape but Strap is in control.
Strap misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Strap with the ground and pound but Bader regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Bader regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Strap.
Strap trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Strap stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bader throws up his legs and catches Strap in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Strap tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bader! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Timo Bader!
Timo Bader decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
