Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Comblin (ranked 3043 p4p, 3373 weight class) and Peter Ross (ranked 398 p4p, 439 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Comblin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Ross!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Comblin moves to clinch but Ross breaks away
so Ross counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Comblin wants to stand up but Ross is controlling him.
Ross has gone for a leg lock! Comblin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ross's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ross working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Comblin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Comblin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ross is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Comblin can't fight it off and eventually Ross manages to take the fight to the floor. Comblin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ross drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Comblin dives on top into guard.

Ross tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ross escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Comblin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Comblin connects with a high kick.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Comblin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
