Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zergler One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Khazoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khazoki has chosen I Want It All as his entrance music. Alexi Khazoki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zergler One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexi Khazoki! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Khazoki walks into a stiff left hand from One. One will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
One fails with an attempt to clinch.
Khazoki scores with a takedown into One's guard. Khazoki advances to half guard. Khazoki looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. One is looking to escape. Khazoki is working for a submission of some sort.
Khazoki seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A big right from One misses. Khazoki misses with a takedown attempt - One sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Khazoki circles away from the clinch attempt.

Khazoki avoids a lazy jab quite easily. One throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khazoki. Khazoki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. One keeping moving, preventing Khazoki from controlling successfully. Khazoki prevents One from getting back to his feet. One knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Khazoki on the ground. Khazoki decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on One, up you get! One lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khazoki backs up against the cage.

Zergler One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Left hook, right uppercut from One. Khazoki goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Khazoki shoots for a takedown but One saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. One closes the distance and pushes Khazoki back into the cage. One wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Khazoki has him pressed against the cage. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. One is trying to get back to his feet but Khazoki has full control of the position and if anything, One has just worked his way into a worse spot. Khazoki controlling the position well here. One rolled but Khazoki kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Khazoki circles away from the clinch attempt and Khazoki counters by moving into the clinch. One lands a shot to the body. A short right from One on the inside. One wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. One wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Khazoki has him pressed against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khazoki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Khazoki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Khazoki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. One is working Khazoki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Khazoki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Khazoki is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. One in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. One tries to stand but Khazoki is controlling from the bottom. One trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Khazoki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. One throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khazoki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Khazoki wants to sweep here but One controlling him for the moment. One wants to get up but he can't break Khazoki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Khazoki not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
One avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - One looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khazoki moves into the clinch. Khazoki turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Khazoki manages to end up in side control. One wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! One is looking to get back to his feet here but Khazoki is keeping cool and he's managed to take One's back. One holding both Khazoki 's hands and preventing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khazoki looking for the choke but no joy. Khazoki is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

And that's the end of the fight! Alexi Khazoki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Khazoki winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
