PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 1756 p4p, 2035 weight class) and Guy Le Franc (ranked 250 p4p, 283 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Sefa - God's Plan. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Guy Le Franc!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Le Franc is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kersikov.

It looks like Guy Le Franc has been cut.
Le Franc drops his hands momentarily and Kersikov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Boyko Kersikov is winning the standup battle so far.
Kersikov throws a shot from downtown. Le Franc moves away and avoids it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Le Franc! But no joy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Boyko Kersikov will probably get the nod.
