Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 6018 p4p, 23675 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 46 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Inday shoots in for a takedown but Mmm shows good takedown defense.

Inday shoots in and gets a takedown into Mmm's guard.
Inday seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inday postures up.

Mmm being controlled here, momentarily.
Mmm trying to control the position.
Inday is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Inday has a takedown stuffed.
Mmm steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Inday closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Inday lands in his opponent's guard.
Mmm working a defensive guard here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mmm is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A lull in the action here as Inday stalls from top position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Inday's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Zambosurian Inday dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Inday fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mmm or perhaps it was just good defense by Inday, which made it look bad.
Inday quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mmm tries for a takedown but Inday sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Inday changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm with a lazy takedown attempt
and Inday counters with a body kick that stops Mmm in his tracks momentarily.
Zambosurian Inday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mmm Mmm.
Mmm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inday's waist but Inday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mmm off to one side.

Inday drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mmm is on top in guard.

Mmm throws an elbow that misses. Inday uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mmm's guard. Nice move by Inday!

Mmm being controlled here, momentarily.
Zambosurian Inday overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mmm trying to control the position.

Mmm looking for a sweep. Not yet Mmm, not yet.
Inday not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Inday looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mmm is fending him off so far but Inday persists. Nope, Mmm circles away and we're back to standing.

Mmm scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

The ground and pound from Mmm seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Inday tries to buck Mmm off but Mmm is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zambosurian Inday will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mmm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Inday pinned against the cage. Inday gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Inday thinks about countering with a head kick.
Inday shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mmm sprawls well. Mmm wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Inday gets slowly back to his feet.
Mmm tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Inday fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mmm avoids it really well and circles away.
Mmm replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Inday blocks it well.
Inday shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mmm as he avoids it easily.
Mmm is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zambosurian Inday. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Inday fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mmm to the ground. Inday is now in Mmm's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Inday is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mmm manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Inday manages to get himself to full guard.

Inday looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mmm's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mmm wants to control from the top but Inday keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Mmm shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Inday sprawls well. Inday wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mmm gets slowly back to his feet.
Mmm Mmm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zambosurian Inday.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Inday, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
