Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ Karter (ranked 765 p4p, 983 weight class) and White Rain (ranked 107 p4p, 140 weight class). Rain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, White Rain!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Karter to score with a decent uppercut.
Rain misses with a hook. Karter ducked under it nicely.
Karter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Rain in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
