The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hu drives through with a takedown into Carter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Carter wants to stand but Hu is controlling the position.
Carter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hu is one step ahead there.
Hu passes into half guard.
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hu trying to control from half guard but Carter is working away.
Hu has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carter wants to hold on but Hu pushes him away.

Hu jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Carter manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Hu is trying to control the action in half guard but Carter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hu is really struggling to control Carter but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Hu wants to pass to mount but Carter is defending the position.

Hu maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Carter could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hu has cracked it and Carter is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hu!
