This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 1 losses; Abu Schaubi! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Schaubi clinches. Schaubi is defending well against a takedown attempt. Schaubi drags the fight down to the ground.
Schaubi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schaubi is continuing to stall. Let's hope that Schaubi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Schaubi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kersikov trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Schaubi manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Kersikov (0) vs (2) Schaubi Kersikov is pulling down on Schaubi's head. It's preventing any offense from Schaubi, at least for the moment.

Schaubi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kersikov is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at KFA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Schaubi performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kersikov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Schaubi controlling from the full mount. Schaubi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

And that's the end of the fight! As we have tied on points and both fighters attempted the same number of subs, we will decide the bout based on the toss of a coin! Kersikov is heads and Schaubi is tails. The coin is in the air and it lands... tails! Schaubi wins on points by 8 to 7.
