This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 3 losses; Glen Barnes! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Gotosleep Innkeeper! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Barnes shoots for a double leg takedown but Innkeeper sprawls well. He's pushed Barnes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Innkeeper feints the counter takedown. Barnes fails with the takedown and Innkeeper counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Barnes! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Barnes (0) vs (4) Innkeeper Innkeeper tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Barnes is trying to control Innkeeper's posture but Innkeeper avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Innkeeper trying to control the action but Barnes is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes can't do much from the bottom here. Innkeeper wants to control but Barnes is keeping him busy. Innkeeper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Innkeeper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Barnes is looking for a sweep. Barnes manages to work his way to half guard, despite Innkeeper's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes gets back to full guard.
Barnes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Innkeeper passes into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Innkeeper stalling away here and it's allowed Barnes to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Barnes throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Barnes is pulling down on Innkeeper's head. It's preventing any offense from Innkeeper, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Barnes (2) vs (9) Innkeeper Innkeeper is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Barnes jumps into side control! Score +3 for passing guard: Barnes (5) vs (9) Innkeeper Barnes passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Innkeeper! Score +2 for reaching mount: Barnes (7) vs (9) Innkeeper Innkeeper looks winded! Innkeeper is squirming around, avoiding Barnes's attempts to control the action. Barnes controlling the position easily from mount. Innkeeper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barnes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Innkeeper is trying to escape the mount but Barnes keeps good control and instead manages to take Innkeeper's back.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Barnes is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Innkeeper won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Barnes off his unconscious opponent!
