The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Caceres shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barnes sprawls well. Barnes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Caceres gets slowly back to his feet.

Caceres shoots in for a double leg but Barnes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Caceres sets himself, and Barnes steps forward looking for the clinch! Caceres avoids it this time.

My spies in Mentor Gym inform me that Barnes has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Caceres has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Barnes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Caceres has tightened it up now! Barnes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
