This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 2 losses; Tim Smooth! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Bradley Jaditsa! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Smooth looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Smooth (4) vs (0) Jaditsa Jaditsa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Smooth moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Jaditsa. Score +3 for passing guard: Smooth (7) vs (0) Jaditsa You can see the frustration on Jaditsa's face as Smooth controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smooth working away. Smooth can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jaditsa is looking to escape. Smooth fails to move to back control. Smooth controlling the position easily from mount. Smooth trying to control but Jaditsa is having none of it.

Smooth is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jaditsa knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jaditsa for a finish.

Smooth has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jaditsa has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Smooth has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jaditsa's body.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Smooth looking for the choke but no joy. Jaditsa is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Smooth seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Jaditsa's chin but Jaditsa turns very nicely into Smooth's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Jaditsa.
