Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Thekid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carson Fairburn!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thekid instigates a clinch.
Fairburn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Thekid jumps guard but Fairburn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Come on Thekid - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fairburn gets underhooks to prevent Thekid's takedown attempt.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Fairburn.

Thekid ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Thekid no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fairburn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Thekid is proving hard to escape from.
Thekid is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thekid keeping moving, preventing Fairburn from controlling successfully.
Fairburn throws a big elbow that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thekid utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Thekid is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fairburn is controlling him.

Thekid pushes Fairburn off and scrambles back to his feet.
Thekid checks a low kick from Fairburn.
Thekid tries to counter by clinching up but Fairburn breaks away and moves out of range.
Thekid misses with a wild combination.
Fairburn shoots in but no luck this time.
Thekid throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thekid gets in close and tags Fairburn with a short punch that almost sends Fairburn to the mat! Oh Fairburn is in big trouble! He turns his back on Thekid, trying to create some distance but Thekid rushes him, striking wildly and Fairburn goes down! The referee tackles Thekid into the cage to end the fight! Thekid is one violent man!
