Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 24196 p4p, 24646 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kugus Amiga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Amiga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salvacion.
Amiga is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amiga defends it nicely.
Amiga was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salvacion is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Salvacion reaches up and holds on to Amiga to control the position.
Amiga lands a couple of good shots and Salvacion has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Amiga closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well.
Amiga changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Salvacion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Salvacion tries to buck Amiga off but Amiga is having none of it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nice sprawl there from Amiga as Salvacion shoots in.
It looked like Amiga was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Salvacion drives through with a takedown into Amiga's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kugus Amiga.
Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
