Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory McShea (ranked 4627 p4p, 23921 weight class) and Fyodor Dmitriev (ranked 472 p4p, 543 weight class). Rory McShea has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rory McShea! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Dmitriev! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dmitriev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dmitriev tries to score a power double leg takedown but McShea sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dmitriev somewhat. Dmitriev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McShea pinned against the cage. McShea gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rory McShea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fyodor Dmitriev. Dmitriev shoots in for a double leg but McShea sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dmitriev just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMcShea. Dmitriev shoots in and gets a takedown into McShea's guard. McShea has Dmitriev pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dmitriev stopping the sweep attempt from McShea. Dmitriev slips nicely into half guard. McShea wants to control but Dmitriev passes into side.
That's one minute gone in the round. McShea holds on to Dmitriev's head and controls the position momentarily. McShea is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dmitriev has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dmitriev wants to control but McShea is keeping him busy. Dmitriev tries to stand but McShea is controlling his head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McShea is trying to get back to half guard. Dmitriev tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McShea is positioning himself to get back to half guard. McShea might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dmitriev throws an elbow but McShea slips to the side and avoids it well. McShea is trying to improve his position. McShea on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McShea tries to get out of the position. McShea struggling a bit here. Dmitriev is trying to get an arm triangle but McShea is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McShea trying his best to control but Dmitriev has mounted him.
And that's the end of the fight! Fyodor Dmitriev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dmitriev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
