The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A solid leg kick lands there for Paris.
Paris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Paris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gomez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Gomez wants to get back to his feet but Paris is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Paris loads up on a big left hand. Gomez felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Paris looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gomez can't hide his disappointment, as Paris celebrates the victory.
