Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zico Verhoeven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prince Idol!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verhoeven darts in and clinches Idol up against the ropes.
Verhoeven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Verhoeven closes the distance and clinches.
Verhoeven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Idol takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Prince Idol has been cut.
Idol fails with an attempt to clinch.
BAM! Verhoeven delivers a spinning backfist that drops Idol like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Zico Verhoeven!
A very excited looking Zico Verhoeven rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
