Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benson Beckley (ranked 24130 p4p, 23935 weight class) and Tadao Sato (ranked 510 p4p, 496 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tadao Sato!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckley throws a body shot but no joy.
Beckley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sato should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Beckley connects with a high kick.

It looks like Tadao Sato has been cut.

Beckley moves into the clinch.

Beckley drags the fight down to the ground.

Sato drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Beckley dives on top into guard.

Beckley scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sato bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beckley's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Beckley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Sato postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Beckley wriggles free and stands up.
Beckley throws a head kick that misses.
Sato looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Beckley lands a right hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sato misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sato keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Beckley has Sato up against the cage in a clinch.
Sato managing to block the knees to the body from Beckley.
Beckley slowing the pace effectively.

Beckley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Beckley manages to end up in side control.
Beckley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Beckley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sato to his feet.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sato has eaten all the pies!
Sato misses with a wild combination.

Beckley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sato unleashes a big counter combination but Beckley bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Beckley connects with a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Beckley clinches.
Sato takes an elbow to the forehead.
Beckley misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sato.
Beckley unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sato lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Beckley tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Sato has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Beckley cracks Sato with a left hook right on the temple and Sato goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Beckley lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Sato is OK!
