Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fet Bard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fet Bard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fet Bard!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bard moves into the clinch successfully.
Bard landing knees to the body.
Bard lands a nice elbow.

Wilson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bard clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bard looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
I would not like to be Bard right now.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Wilson. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Wilson missing with punches from the back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wilson gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Bard is trying to get back to his feet but Wilson has full control of the position and if anything, Bard has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Bard has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Wilson.

Wilson is controlling the position but Bard somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Wilson performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Wilson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bard keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Well, if Wilson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wilson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bard with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wilson is looking to advance position but Bard won't allow it.
Wilson is working hard here to advance position.
Bard is trying to stand back up but Wilson is controlling him

Bard tries to get to full guard but Wilson has control of the leg.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wilson lands a nice short elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wilson connects with a nice short shot to Bard's temple.
Wilson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bard is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard.

Wilson seems to be working for a kimura but Bard defends the submission attempt.
Bard wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wilson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bard does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bard avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wilson.
Wilson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bard lets loose with a powerful body kick. Wilson will feel that in the morning.
Wilson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bard.
Bard lands with a slapping head kick.
Wilson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bard throws a combination. Wilson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bard scores with a shot to the body.
Wilson is breathing heavily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fet Bard dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Wilson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bard moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wilson takes one to the side of the head.
Bard lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wilson takes a step back to recover.

Bard rushes Wilson and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Wilson tries to score a body lock takedown but Bard shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Wilson takes a knee right on the jaw!
Wilson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bard landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wilson takes an elbow to the forehead.
Bard unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wilson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bard trying to control the position but instead, Wilson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bard into the ropes.
Bard with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Bard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bard lands a jab.

Bard scores with a leg kick.
Bard throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wilson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Danga de danga de dang - Bard scores with a four punch combination!
An inside leg kick lands from Bard.
Wilson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bard can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bard gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wilson is working for takedown but Bard is calmly controlling the position for now.

Bard manages to break the clinch.
Bard throws a head kick that half lands.
Charlie Wilson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bard throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wilson's head.
Wilson keeps the fight on the outside.
Bard lands a with a good body shot.
Wilson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A punch lands to the side of Wilson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Wilson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bard scores with a decent looking hook.
Bard throws a head kick that Wilson semi-blocks.
Bard connects with a solid leg kick.

Wilson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wilson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bard. That's going to slow Wilson down.
Bard throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wilson.
Bard explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bard.
Bard lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bard, as that shot connected.
Wilson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nice body kick there by Bard.

Bard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bard throws a one two combo.
Danga de danga de dang - Bard scores with a four punch combination!
Bard scores with a spinning back kick!
Bard scores with a three punch combo!
Bard getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bard thumps Wilson with a low kick.
Bard throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bard throws a head kick that Wilson semi-blocks.
Bard moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fet Bard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Bard lands a head kick!
Wilson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A left and a right from Bard both land. Nice combination.
An inside leg kick lands from Bard.
Bard feints and then cracks Wilson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wilson down.

Bard fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the ropes.
Wilson tries to pull guard but Bard won't allow it.
Bard scores a nice knee to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wilson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bard scores with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wilson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bard.
Bard scores with a jab. Wilson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Bard lands a nice knee to the body.
Bard connects with a nasty looking knee right to Wilson's face.

A head kick from Bard lands but Wilson takes it in his stride.

Bard unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wilson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Bard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bard is looking to slow Wilson down with leg kicks.

Fet Bard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bard connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bard plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Bard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bard jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Good leg kick by Bard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bard scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wilson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bard lands with a nice combination. Wilson backs away looking to recover.
Bard lands a head shot.
A good leg kick by Bard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wilson. That did some damage!
The crowd cheers as Bard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wilson doesn't seem phased though.
