Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Nimoy (ranked 2181 p4p, 1862 weight class) and Walter Wiener (ranked 317 p4p, 282 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonard Nimoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiener throws the kick towards the body but Nimoy avoids it.
Nimoy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nimoy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wiener counters with a head kick. That will keep Nimoy thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Nimoy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nimoy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wiener manages to avoid it.
Nimoy throws a big shot that misses.
Nimoy lunges at Wiener with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wiener's hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wiener pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A counter left hand to the body from Nimoy misses its target.
Wiener misses the shot to the body.
Wiener moves away from the strike by Nimoy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Nimoy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wiener doesn't seem phased though.
Wiener is rocked!
and Nimoy counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Wiener! He's just covering up as Nimoy starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
